Bio
Ruthven Thompson is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (UK) and a member in Audit Practice of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Trinidad and Tobago (ICATT). Notably, he earned top regional and global recognition in his early ACCA studies, placing 1st in the Caribbean and 3rd worldwide.
With over 30 years of experience in audit and assurance, accounting, taxation, consultancy, and strategic planning, Ruthven leads the Assurance Services practice at Moore TT. Prior to this, he was a Partner at A.R.K. Montgomery & Company, which merged with Moore TT in 2023.
Ruthven has worked extensively across diverse sectors, including state enterprises, credit unions, manufacturing, oil and gas services, and NGOs, and is widely respected for his professionalism, integrity, and dedication to excellence.
