Melissa brings over 19 years of experience across audit and assurance, internal audit, compliance, fraud investigations, and risk management. Her career includes senior roles at KPMG, Anthony P. Pierre & Co., and a secondment with Moore Ireland’s Internal Audit Department, where she specialized in Credit Union audits.
She has led and supported engagements for clients across the public and private sectors, including government agencies, financial institutions, insurance companies, and investment firms, demonstrating exceptional analytical and technical acumen.
Melissa holds a BSc in Accounting and Finance, an MBA in Entrepreneurship, Leadership and Innovation, and an MSc in Cybersecurity (Cybercrime, Hacking, and Investigations). She is also a Certified Cryptocurrency Investigator and holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Governance, Risk and Compliance.
